Abandon and Appreciate

This few days I have been watching 'bu bu jing xin' and found an interesting phrase--'Abondon the past, appreciate the present-day'. I grasped the meaning of this phrase and would not be persistence on things which had rigid conclusion. Sometimes we need to abort something then just we can accept something new or different.
